Communication Strategy

The Community Network works to empower the community and voluntary groups in Manchester, with emphasis on the importance of engaging those people and groups that are vulnerable to exclusion.
The Information and Communications Strategy seeks to ensure that the Community Network is broad and inclusive and involves a wide range of groups and individuals. The Strategy sets the framework for how the Community Network shares messages with key audiences and how they can communicate with the Community Network. As a ‘living document’ the Strategy will adapt and adjust in response to the changing needs of the groups and individuals involved in the Community Network.

The Information and Communications Strategy is intended to apply to all aspects of the work that is carried out by the Community Network, including the sub-networks and pools.

The Information and Communications Strategy seeks to: -

Define and prioritise the key issues that the Community Network wants to communicate

Identify the key audiences with whom to share information

Identify the most effective methods of communication with those key audiences
