• Network participants attend Manchester Partnership meetings
• We create opportunities for voluntary and community groups to influence and participate in decision making
• Through networking at strategic events and meetings we are able to positively influence policy and service delivery

• We allocate funding to communities of interest and strategic networks
• We work in partnership with other Third Sector organisations
• We provide opportunities for networking between voluntary and community groups, our network members and other members of the Third Sector
• We facilitate effective joint working through our strategy group meetings, strategic network meetings and other network meetings

• Our website is a valuable resource for voluntary and community groups in Manchester and our network members
• We produce a weekly information e-bulletin which is widely circulated throughout Manchester
• We produce briefings on local and national policies

• We provide one-to-one and group based finance and monitoring support to our networks to help them manage their network grants effectively
• We provide relevant and informative workshops for our network members
• We use a range of communication methods to share information and good practice with our networks

• Equality and diversity is embedded in every aspect of our organisation. Our policy is regularly reviewed and all employees are given ongoing training
• We support and develop a rich and varied range of networks which reflect the diversity of the city of Manchester
